Hello, a .wm3 file?

Greetings to the list!
Might I come out of the shadows to inquire from those who might know what an
.wm3 file extension is?  My new faculty has just sent this to me and I have
no clue.
An extensive search on Google yielded only fruatration. Where might I
download the
required software to open this file?
