Project Leader-College Web Site
Information Services

Shares in developing, designing, and maintaining the homepage and
connective pages for the college web site, creating start-up sites for
offices and projects, and advising on site organization/maintenance.
Provides technical support and customized software training for content
providers and student groups. Participates in IS-wide project teams.
Serves at the Help Desk and as part of the IS-wide
problem-resolution/referral system.
Acts as part of an informal monitoring mechanism regarding College
compliance 
with legal and regulatory mechanisms in the area of intellectual property.
Investigates and resolves problems with HTML code and software. Evaluates
and
recommends new technological solutions. Writes procedural and software
documentation.

Requirements: BA/BS in computer science, library science, teaching or new
media and 2+ years work experience. Knowledge of javascript, usability and
accessibility principles, general cross-platform applications. Capable of
balancing a number of projects and maintaining flexibility. Strong
one-on-one and group teaching skills. Ability to adapt to new
technologies. Knowledge of HTML and other web applications.
Design and multimedia skills necessary. Excellent written and verbal
skills.
Ability to work well within a diverse, multicultural environment.
