ASP code-and-load checkers

Speaking of checking pages...

Have any of you licensed (or are using free versions) of ASP versions of
HTML code checkers? We use the Linkscan "trial" quite a bit, but to use
this or other software packages, we would have to purchase versions to
install on our respective computers (scattered between CA and CT). I
feel that indefinitely relying on Linkscan's online "trial" is a bit
unkosher, plus some of the tools, such as NetMechanic, claim to check
for load times as well. Suggestions, experiences..?
