Subject: [WEB4LIB] Organizing Online Resources

Like many of you, our library continues to add access to various online
resources including online databases, electronic books and other electronic
resources from a variety of vendors and sources. However, as the scope of
these
resources has expanded from a couple of online databases to a much broader
collection, we are now facing the challenge of organizing and presenting
these
resources to our patrons in a way that is both logical and easy-to-use.

To assist our librarians in the process of reorganizing these resources, I
want
to be able to point them to examples of library web sites that present these
resources in a way that is both structured and patron-friendly. If your
site or
a site you are familiar with accomplishes both of these tasks, could you
please
point me to them. Also, I would appreciate any suggestions or comments
about
the best way to go about organizing and presenting these resources.

Thank you,
