In this academic library setting (largely liberal arts with some 4,000 students), we have settled upon a subject Web page presentation format that combines "Indexes, Abstracts, and Databases" with locally held materials, and "Selected Web sites".

The subject Web pages are gathered together in our "Research Guides".
