We began providing headphones at our public Internet terminals about one year ago, and our experience has been overwhelmingly positive. We use inexpensive headphones with a volume control on the cord, and the cost is minimal.

Music and other audio sites are very popular, and we have noticed no effect on our Internet speed since we made audio available. Audio use ranges from music to news to sports broadcasts to movie trailers to everything in between.
