The simplest way is to disable JavaScript.  In IE, set a custom security
policy for the "Internet" zone (Tools/Internet Options/Security/Custom
Level, set Active Scripting to "Disable").  Then you can enable scripting
for the Trusted Zone, and as needed add sites to the Trusted Zone when you
really need to see their scripts in action.  I think I've mentioned this
before, but I surf with scripting disabled just because I find most
JavaScripts distracting and annoying.
