Energy efficient use of computers

I have been asked to come up with guidelines for energy efficient use of
staff computers.  For example:
Turn off the monitor if you will be away from your desk for over 15
minutes, rather than have a screen saver running during that time.

Does anyone have any set of such guidelines?  any ideas to add to such a
list?  If you send to me privately, I can post to the list if there is an
interest.
