It can't be repeated often enough: everything you need to manage your
Web4Lib subscription is at http://sunsite.berkeley.edu/Web4Lib/

The specific steps you should take are to send a message to
listserv at webjunction.org with the single line "set web4lib mail
postpone".  When you get back, send that address the message "set web4lib
mail ack".

Thanks for asking this--far too many people go on vacation after turning
on autoresponders that send responses to ever list message, which is a
really good way to tick off your fellow list members.  (Aside to
autoresponder users: check the documentation to see if the program
understands "Precedence: bulk" - if not, don't use it.)
