Registration is open for the 2001 LITA National Forum! The Forum will be
held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, October 11-14 at the Hilton Milwaukee City
Center.
Among the concurrent sessions that might interest WEB4LIB readers:
"Dynamic Web Pages Using PERL and a Text File"
"How Patrons Use an Academic Library Web Site Search"
"An Introduction to Web Server Statistics and Using Them in Web
Site Redesign"
"Manage Library Subject Web Pages Without Manual HTML Coding"
"Managing Your Library Website Using Dreamweaver"
The Forum includes three general sessions and 30 concurrent sessions that
provide practical guidance for information specialists in all settings.
Add to your Forum experience by attending one or both of the preconference
workshops, "Adaptive Technology for the Internet" on Thursday afternoon,
October 11, or "Practical Digital Libraries Overview" on Friday morning,
October 12.
A number of networking opportunities will be available. The Friday
evening reception, sponsored by Innovative Interfaces, Inc., will be at
the Central Library of the Milwaukee Public Library.
E-mail and Internet access terminals will be provided by Veicon
Technology, Inc. Other sponsors helping to make the Forum possible include
