The Thunder Bay Public Library in Ontario, Canada, has a database of
searchable local history photographs. It includes a video of the December
demolition of the Saskatchewan Pool 6 grain elevator, the largest concrete
structure in Canada to be imploded.

We have also begun a "Mystery Photo" challenge in our quarterly newsletter,
which invites members of the public to give us the story behind the photos
we don't know much about. It's proving to be a popular feeature.

You can view the online photo site at: www.tbpl.thunder-bay.on.ca. Click on
"Digitization Project" in the menu selection.
