Currently we have a number of unique opportunities for
experienced technical candidates in the SF Bay Area and Silicon

Metadata Architect/Librarian
You will be responsible for developing and implementing custom
metadata schemas used by clients. You will work with clients to
understand and define their media asset classification needs and
with our Professional Services team to design schema that
address those needs and utilize the full functionality of the
application. The ideal candidate for this position understands
the interplay between the information and business needs of
large companies. He or she also has exceptional organizational
vision and experience creating data structures to facilitate
the indexing and retrieval of information.
The company has assembled a world class object-oriented
development team as well as a seasoned team of marketing and
technology executives with expertise in the internet and
branding domains.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Familiarity with the setup and configuration of asset/document
management software
-Working knowledge of relational databases.
-Degree in Information Science, Library Science, or an
equivalent combination of education and experience.
PREFERRED:
-Experience using ONIX, INDECS, Dublin Core or other standard
metadata schema.
-Familiarity with thesaurus design and construction.
