Statistics showing publication rates and such

I am thinking of writing up a fact sheet of sorts to explain why the print
based library is still necessary.  Has anyone written such a document I
could borrow or steal from?  Is there a good statistical source showing how
much is available electronic format versus print format?  I remember reading
not too long ago that the field with the highest rate of print publication
is computer science.  Any one have any idea what publication that was in?
Any other suggestions?  The audience for this document may include deans and
others as well as instructors and students.
