FrontPage + HomeSite = conflict?

There have been a number of messages on this list about FrontPage
and its wacky antics, but here's a slightly different issue.
I've used HomeSite for a couple of years and am very satisfied. It
gives you direct contact with the code, plus some useful automated
tools (global search/replace, code "snippets", link checking, &c)
for the repetitive tasks. The interface is complex, but like other
programs, it seems perfectly normal once you have it down. The code
it produces is very clean and works fine on an Apache server with any
browser I've seen.
Now I've been approached by a potential client who has an established
web production environment using Front Page and the Microsoft web server.
* If I get FrontPage 2000 and use it for this job, will it create
any conflicts with HomeSite (hijacking default settings, &c)?
* Likewise, will the FrontPage "publishing" process create any
conflicts with my current WS_FTP method of uploading files?
* If I insist on sticking with HomeSite/WS_FTP, will the files
and/or uploading method create difficulties for this client
in integrating my pages into their site, updating them, &c?
I'd be interested to hear from anyone with experience in this
kind of situation.
