In Canada, some libraries are involved in an interesting web-based video pilot
project with the National Film Board of Canada. a project called "Cineroute".
Details about the Cineroute project is at http://www.nfb.ca/E/2/5/4//index2.html

This pilot-project provides access to more than 800 movies (full-sceeen) over the
Internet using RealPlayer with an MPEG plug-in.

Concordia Libraries will be part of the pilot-project as well a many other
Canadian Libraries (for a list of libraries see
http://www.nfb.ca/E/2/5/4//liste2.html

Here at Concordia Libraries we are providing one station dedicated to access the
Cineroute project. We will be piloting this project with the NFB.
