Jerry's accumulation of problem Internet issues lacked but one thing, as far
as I could see--webpages that are written so badly they become public
service nightmares.

You know the library vaudeville routine--it plays in libraries everywhere:

Patron: Librarian, your computer is broken!  I can't see this webpage!  [Or,
it won't load, or it hijacks, or...]

Librarian [views source, tinkers around, identifies problem]: Ah yes--this
web page is broken.

Patron: Aren't you going to fix it?
