We currently have a project whereby we are putting OE on every staff
machine. It's very time consuming, and people either love it or hate it.
You might also have to deal with people who want to use it at home as well
as on their work machine. This can be a NIGHTMARE!

Then there's the problem of people sharing machines. You have to set up
login IDs for each person, so that they only get to read their own mail.

Our Computing Services people are currently testing IMP, a web-based IMAP
e-mail program. So far it looks very promising and might be a useful
alternative to loading software on local machines.
