> Duties & Responsibilities
> Working in a team environment, is responsible for the development and

> · Analyze user problems and write functional specifications.

> · Programming the specification in the most efficient manner.
> · Creating and maintaining clear task lists.
> · Thorough testing of completed projects.
> · Ongoing maintenance and updating of code.

> Required Education, Experience, Skills
> · Masters degree in Library/Information Science or equivalent training
> and experience.
> · Demonstrated aptitude for technical analysis and programming.
> · Excellent oral and written communication skills.

> Desirable:
> · Familiarity with a broad range of computing platforms (e.g. UNIX,
> Windows, NT).
> · Experience with one or more of the following: Java, Perl, C++, WWW
> applications.
> · Familiarity with RDBMS.
> · Familiarity with library systems.

> Salary: Salary grade 56/57
> Project term position for 2 years with possibility of renewal.
> Starting salary: $35,000 - $47,000 (depending on experience); Generous fringe
> benefits.
