Beware of pages changing your homepage. . .

In our library (King Drew Health Sciences Library in LA) we are currently
using a web-based menu for access to databases, etc. (i.e. the browser
is always running).
One day I walked by, and noticed that a number of workstations had
"flightsimmers.net" as their homepage. Not good.
I went over to that page, and it had a selection "Make flightsimmers.net
your home page". A quick view of the source (it's in frames, so you have
to poke around a bit) brought up this code:
---begin code segment---
<a HREF onClick="this.style.behavior='url(#default#homepage)';
this.setHomePage('http://www.flightsimmers.net');">
<p align="center"><img src="/homemake.gif" align="left">Click here to make
flight simmers net your default homepage!</a>
---end code segment---
This is the first time I've even heard of the setHomePage javascript
function. Has anyone else ran into this problem, and can it be defeated?
Thanks!
