I have found Nestscape much, much easier to use with the Proxy Server our
CTIS department uses.  WE have far fewer problems getting all versions of
Netscape to work with Windows and Mac than we do IE with our proxy.
Netscape is the preferred browser on our campus and mine as well.  I find
Netscape works much quicker than IE.  Try getting IE to work with AOL and a
proxy.  We have copies of Netscape (latest versions) that we let our
students check out and return to make getting Netscape easier.

Hope the "death notices" are premature.
