Theme
"MOO -- The Missing Link in Online Education?"  This
meeting will explore how virtual educational environments
such as MOOs are being used to support online education,
particularly in conjunction with other educational tools.

Call for Participation

DUETS seeks original contributions in the field of
virtual educational environments, particularly with
MOOs.  Topics of particular interest include but are
not limited to:

· Applications: Theoretical and/or pedagogical implications
and applications of MOOs being integrated with
external (both online and offline) software to enhance learning.
· Evaluation: original qualitative and quantitative
evaluation of the use of virtual educational environments.
· Systems: new systems development and programming tools
used to enhance virtual  educational environments.

These might include methods of accessing the moo, accessing
external databases, innovative moo-programming tools, or
means of integrating MOO with other educational software.

Formats

Contributions can be in the form of Papers, Posters,
Demonstrations, Panels, and Tutorials. If
