No - even searching without quotes brings back just the 9 results - which is
a "list of near matches provided by RealNames."  It looks to me as though
AltaVista has a glitch in it this morning...

Incidentally the search statement   Santa Fe poetry   brought up 1.2 million
hits with the Broadside site as the first hit.  This will a good teaching
example to help people understand that software isn't always accurate.

It's the quotation marks. If you search with quotation marks, Alta Vista
searches it exactly as is. If you wanted to get everything, you might do
+santa +fe.
