POSITION:	COMPUTER INSTRUCTION SPECIALIST

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:  Must have Master's Degree in 
Library Science or its equivalent from an ALA accredited 
institution.  Minimum of two years experience working in 
public libraries.  Proven experience in staff training.  
Course work and/or proficiency in use of Microsoft software, 
Internet search engines, library databases.

NATURE OF WORK:  Under the supervision of the Library Automation 
Specialist; develops, coordinates and conducts computer 
instruction for staff in professional, paraprofessional and 
clerical positions including training in use the Microsoft 
programs, Internet search engines, and database searching; 
develops and implements computer instruction for library users 
throughout the system in Internet and database searching.

TIME & HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT Full-time, 40 hours per week.

SALARY:  $37,752 per year with excellent benefits.
