Hi Helen,
I am presenting at Internet Librarian International / Lib Tech 99 on March 29
http://www.infotoday.com/ili99/ili99.htm
on this topic -
Web-Enabling Databases.
For web-enabling MS Access, my humble suggestion is for you to wait for Office
2000, out in April for ~$500.
I'm a beta-tester and I like it! With Office 2000 you can convert your
existing MS Access database to the web in 2 minutes, point and click. Of
course you need to be running Microsoft server products on your Internet
host. Not completely vendor-neutral, but Mic's trying.
You will save lots in labor costs, if MS Access is your tool of choice.
