The Acrobat reader is able to coexist with both Netscape and Internet
Explorer on the same machine, even running in windows of both
simultaneously. If you haven't done a recent reinstall from the most
current version, give it a try before doing anything else.

By the way, Adobe recently announced Acrobat 4.0, due out in late March,
with a beta version of the reader available now. Better browser
compatibility is one of the advertised features.

The 4.0 reader will obviously be able to read current PDF files. However,
once Distiller and the other 4.0 Acrobat utilities come out, they will be
able to create files that may not be viewable in the 3.0 reader. Plan
your upgrade schedule accordingly.
