OCLC new Browser req.

Netscape 3.01 does enable java and it is one of the easiest browsers to
secure up for public use as a PAC.
Now some libraries will offer both First Search and PAC access at the
same workstation, I know that is what we are planning to do.  Now, if
OCLC is going to require a newer version of Netscape or IE, then all
these workstations will need to be reconfigured.  AGAIN. and AGAIN and
AGAIN.  At some point a standard must be reached and maintained long
enough so some of us can get other work done. Reconfiguring workstations

simply to comply with a somewhat new version must cost libraries
millions across the country.  Do we really have the resources available
for such a chase?
