It was not my intent to start any arguments about using IE5.  I don't know
all of the issues.  All I know is I tried to repair IE5 but it wouldn't do
the repairs,  I tried reinstalling and found I had the same problems with my
laptop freezing up with greater and greater frequency.  There is nothing in
the Microsoft tech support notes about these symptoms and I have never been
able to get any response from them when I have sent e-mails.  All of the
problems disappeared after I uninstalled IE5, deleted the setup files for
IE5, and reinstalled IE4.01.
