Call for Speakers

Information Today Inc., a key provider of technology conferences for almost
twenty years with the National Online Meeting and Computers in Libraries,
is pleased to announce the 3rd annual Internet Librarian the ONLY
conference for information professionals who are using, developing, and
embracing Internet, Intranet, and Web-based strategies in their roles as
information navigators, webmasters and web managers, content evaluators,
product developers, searchers, guides, and more.  This comprehensive
conference and exhibition offers a wide-ranging program designed to meet
the needs of librarians, information managers, systems professionals,
researchers and information specialists. 
		
Internet Librarian '99, including Internet at Schools '99, caters to all
interests and all levels of knowledge with four simultaneous tracks plus
many workshop and networking opportunities.  This year's tracks and themes
will encompass: Managing Content, Web Tools, Internet & Intranet Services,
Managing Knowledge Assets, Distance Learning & Instruction, Case Studies of
Internet and Intranet Librarians, Web Management, Digitizing Resources,
Streaming Multimedia, School Libraries, and more.  Speakers are
knowledgeable, authoritative and focus on practical applications and case
studies as well as technical and managerial issues.  Please consider
sending us a proposal to speak.  Below are some of the topics we hope to
cover, but don't let this list limit your imagination!  We look forward to
hearing from you.

brief details of your proposed presentation: title, subject, scope,
abstract, a few sentences of biographical information that relate you to
the topic, and full contact information (title, address, email, phone &
fax).   All abstracts will be reviewed by the Organizing/Review Committee
and notification regarding acceptance will be made by June.
