[WEB4LIB] "Cannot read from drive A"

We have this message coming up fairly frequently on machines running
Windows3.1 with security software Winselect and Fortres. We have been looking
for some conflict with this software but from Tom's setup, perhaps it is
something else
It happens when users attempt to print, using shared printers with copy cards
for charging.
I have found that cancel, followed by file, save as cancel, allows printing to
proceed without the error message reappearing, when another print command is
sent.
