Nicholas, if you want to do metasearches of the net, you should try
Infoseek Express.

This is search software that is installed locally. It searches Alta Vista
Excite, Hotbot, Infoseek, Lycos, WebCrawler, Yahoo. You can search all the
preceding simultaneously, individually or in any combination. Duplicates
are filtered out, and the output is ranked by relevancy. The software is
free, and very effective for finding information.
I have no ties to Infoseek, and the above opinions are merely those of a
satisfied user.
