image size

Hi!

Image sizes and quality are one big concern to all web developers. I
learned that "OpenPix ImageIgniter" by HP can raise image (Photo?) quality
while reducing the sizes. Does anyone have the using experience? Any other
software that can accomplish this?

The other question is how to determine the exact sizes of images. I use a
Mac computer. I found that the image sizes by using Photoshop - "Image
Size" is different from what I got from using "Get Infor" when highlighting
the image on desktop.
