But if I were a student, standing at one of 40 public terminals in my
library, the only accountable person you can trace is the campus IT
administrator.
This is the person who signed an agreement with an ISP that he/she would
validate all users, so any abuse could be traced. Since I neither make
nor want my users to have to sign on, I, as the campus IT person, am in
deep doo-doo if a user abuses hotmail.
