The posting in question was mine.  I had understood from a source i
considered reliable (a librarian no less) that there had been a case raised
by an author or group of authors who felt their work was being sold without
their permission.

It appears from Ms Ward's posting that this information was in error.
I wish to thank Ms Ward for this clarification and extend my sincere aplogies.

I will also say - fwiw - that several librarians I work with regularly
recommend Northern Light to patrons.
