Importing form data into a database

I'm looking at importing the results of an HTML "mailto" form into a 
Filemaker database.  

I'm imagining writing a Filemaker script to parse the form data and 
then dump it into the appropriate fields.

Has anyone done this already who would be willing to advise and/or 
share some of their work to help me get started?
