Fellow web4libers -
This came through on another listserv...er, I mean discussion group.
Thought you might find it interesting.

Subject: lists and Listservs
I see in the October 19th issue of Library Hotline that L-Soft International, the owners
of the Listserv software have contacted the American Library Association with a reminder
that "listserv" is a registered trademark and should be "deleted wherever it is used and
replaced with 'mailing list' or 'announcement service'."
ALA suggests the use of "list", "discussion list" or "distribution list".
I will be proofreading my own web pages, and thought I'd send this along as a headsup to
all you webmasters out there.
