To those bibliophiles on the net,
"BIBLIO: Book Collecting Enters the 21st Century" is a nice,
introductory essay containing loads of information about antiquarian
book collecting via the Internet.
Jerome F. Parmer has put together a very helpful essay about using the
Web, listservs, etc., for purposes of book collecting. Covers the basics
for beginners, but also has a nice listing of URLs and suggestions for
using network resources. ["Dr. Jerome F. Parmer is the proprietor of
Parmer Books, along with his wife Jean Marie Parmer, in San Diego,
California."]
Thought this might be of direct interest, or maybe of use for a bookmark
link you can pass along to "antiquarian newbies." (not an oxymoron in
this usage)
Cheers,
