I think the advantage of CSS is that you can create a "standard" for a
group of pages.
ie Always put <h3> in purple centered or make all left table columns
centered.

This standard can be a separate page, so that instead of updating every
single <h3> from purple to green requires editing of one line instead of
twelve lines on  each page.
