ol and LI won't give nos. on IE/Nagivator 4.0 table col.; ok on 3 ver.

Help.  My web commands for an ordered list with <LI> in the first column of 
each row reflects the numbers on the 3.0 whatever version of IE I have but 
not on the 4.0 versions of both IE and Netscape Nagivator.
