Wireless mouse

I am considering purchasing a wireless mouse for our instruction classroom
computer as it would free the instructor from having to physically be at
the instructor's computer.  I am currently looking at a product
manufactured by Interlink Electronics which they call a Cordless Handheld
Pointing Device.  

Have others installed wireless mice?  How have they worked?  Have there
been any conflicts with the frequencies?  Do they really replace a typical
mouse in functionality or would the instructor still have to use the mouse
at the Instructor's workstation?
