Position Available:   Technology Services

Responsibilities:  activities related to PC usage within various departments
of the library branches (15 branches); installation and support of hardware
and software for staff and public access Internet stations; planning for
future needs; education and training for staff. The position will also
include worth with CDROM reference tools and online databases.  Must be able
to work in a team environment and independently.

Experience:  knowledge and familiarity with with DOS, Win 3.x and Win95
required; Corel Office Professional software preferred; CDROM and online
databases preferred; experience in training staff/public; experience in
providing user support.  

Requirements: MLS from ALA accredited program, 3 years professional
experience preferrred.

Availability:  Now.  This is a full-time position.

Salary and benefits:  beginning range $26,000. -$30,000. depending on
experience; full medical, dental benefits; Oregon Public Employees
Retirement System, etc.
