TWAYNES AUTHOR Series

Please forgive if this is too tangential -
It involves access to a cd-rom product -- but -- the proiduct creates its
own web server and then uses its own copy of Netscape as a front end -so
the concept is related -- and besides - I'm getting desperate ----

Has anyone out there successfully networked Twaynes Author series CD-ROMs
(American Authors, English Authors, World Authors)
It appears to run a proprietary mini-webserver and then load its own
configuration of Netscape 4 (which they insist runs seperately from and
does not conflict with any other Netscape configuration you may be running)
as a front end.

Initially I could not get the program to run at all without locking up my
system. After much hair pulling and several different installs I have
managed to get to the point where it will load and run --once--
When I try to go back to that same cd - or any of the other Twayne products
- I get a GPF -- in either Netscape.exe at 0001:3BIA or in User.exe at
0010:5BCC.

There tech support people have not been able to reproduce and thus have not
been able to correct the problem.

I am running Windows 3.1 clients using Netscape 2.02 or 4.02 as my primary
(same results with either version) I am on a Netware 3.12 LAN using the
TCP/IP stack in Novell's Client 32.

Any help will be ---deeply appreciated--

Thank you
