Replacing Terminals with PCs

Although I haven't used it through a terminal connection, Term 32 version 4.1.5b
(QVT's terminal emulator) offers the choice of network or serial connection in
its default setup and the use of com 1, 2, 3, or 4.  I have been using Term32
quite successfully on PCs with WIN95 and a network connection.  The program
allows for automated logons where you can specify the login prompt and the
password prompt.  Then you can add command line switches to specify the
configuration, host, login, and password.  This would be done in the shortcut
properties.  If you need more than just login and password, you can specify a
script file although I've never needed to use this myself so I'm not sure if it
picks up after login or inplace of .
