Thanks to all who responded to my question about a GIF image. The most common response was that the two images looked the same to those who viewed it. A couple people went on to suggest that my monitor was probably set to 256 colors, and that changing it to 16-bit color would improve the rendering on my computer. They were correct. Diane Madrigal
