Thanks, Peter.  A good suggestion, but I tried in April and got very 
little response.  I'm actually getting more from this list than I got

We are Token Ring inside the library as part of the campus network 
(no Ethernet here among the IBM!), but we are wondering if we 
may have to switch to Ethernet inside the library and connect to 
Token Ring for campus access, if we go with Innovative.  They're 
checking on putting a Token Ring card in the DEC Alpha, but we'd 
rather not be first to try this.  We've been on the bleeding part of 
the cutting edge once already with another vendor.

Thanks for your response.  I've found this list very helpful for all 
sorts of questions (whether I ask them or someone else beats me to 
it!).
