Internet Explorer: how to save text in frame

Text in frames can be saved or printed in Windows 95 by highlighting
the desired sections, selecting "Copy" from the Edit menu, then
opening View and selecting "Source." If your computers are set up
like many, the built in notepad in the browser will come with the html
coding. Ignore that, select "New" from the File menu and a fresh
document will open. In this document's menu, select "Paste" from the
Edit menu and the highlighted text from the frame will be in the
notepad. Now select "Save AS" from the File menu. Find the A drive
folder in the Save window that comes up, choose it, type a file name
with a txt extension (Some.txt), and click on Save. The text which
you selected from the frame should be saved to the disk in the A
drive. If you want to print the selected text instead, choose "Print"
from the File menu rather than "Save AS".
We came up with this as a solution for printing portions of long
webpages since Explorer doesn't have a print preview. The formatting
and graphics are lost in the transfer to text, but for someone wanting
only the words, it works.
