This common problem has a solution - basically, you make the wallpaper file
Netscape makes - Netscape Wallpaper.bmp (after, of course, you've made it
the one you want ;) - located in the Windows directory - Read Only. The
only problem with this workaround is that in Windows 95, once you've done
this, anytime someone tries to set a graphic as wallpaper from Netscape,
Netscape crashes. There's a thorough explanation of the solution, and the
crashing problem at the Unofficial Netscape FAQ at:
http://www.sousystems.com/faq/navcom/defeatwallpaper.html#32bit
Note: Netscape recommends this FAQ when people don't find the answers to
their questions in their Frequently Asked Questions page at:
http://help.netscape.com/faqs.html
If someone has a better fix, I'd love to hear about it!
