Several people have asked why I don't use MOOs or similar environments.
I'll be honest, I have looked into them and find them to be a real pain
to use and "navigate" through.  I think they actaully impede
conversation in many ways.  IRC and programs like PowWow are simple and
directly to the point.  Why go to all of the bother of creating
artificail rooms, structures, and identities if the real purpose is to
increase communication between individual librarians?  Am I missing the
point here?
