Well, I'm not using Win U, but I'm very interested in any feedback available
on this program....specifically if it's being used on Win95 machines and
even more specifically, if anyone is using IAC's Infotrac with the Win95
interface.
I recently upgraded the p.a. stations to Win95 and loaded FoolProof by
SmartStuff. I like the program...especially the quick keystroke override,
but I have had NOTHING but problems with Infotrac since the upgrade.
Infotrac just spontaneously "freezes" up...and in different places every
time. I assumed at first it was some sort of memory problem, but even after
we freed up 540K of conventional, it still freezes. IAC is out of
ideas...and two of their support people are now on my X-mas card list!!
So, I have no choice but to assume that something in FoolProof is causing my
problems. If any one has any ideas, please let me know...and if anyone is
using Infotrac's Win95 interface...PLEASE tell me what you do for security
to "lock down" your machines!
