Your mileage may vary, but when I dressed up my WWW Intro ppt show
last night for today's class I added three screen shots, to illustrate
the point that there are browsers other than Netscape. The screen
shots looked fine on my PC, even when loaded from my web account and
displayed with pptview, but would not print on handouts. They also
appeared blank on the classroom PC. My only conclusion is that
Powerpoint needs 32meg (my machine) to display them, the laserjet
can't accommodate that many bits, and the 24meg in the lab is
insufficient.

If you'd like to try it, the URL is

The blank slides are, in order, a Netscape screenshot, an AOL
screenshot, and a Lynx screenshot.
