INTERNET TRAINER AND RESEARCH SPECIALIST  

Bibliographical Center for Research (BCR), a multi-state library service
network headquartered in Aurora, CO, seeks individual to provide Internet
training and consulting as well as technical and administrative support to
member librarians as part of a network team. The individual in this position
will also identify and evaluate software packages for library applications and
assist with the development of research products and services. 

Required are an ALA accredited MLS degree; at least two years experience in
professional positions; a minimum of one year intensive experience with the
Internet, hardware and software, including UNIX and TCP/IP; one year of
formal experience teaching or training adults and willingness to travel.
Experience with a variety of microcomputer systems and experience with
electronic reference services are highly desirable.  Candidate must have
demonstrable experience and success designing, organizing and presenting
workshops.  Clear oral and written communication skills and experience
providing telephone support are also preferred.  

Minimum salary $32,000, negotiable.  Appointment at senior level in mid
$30,000's possible for candidate with significant additional experience and
